I think his 2016 Cubs accomplishment is more impressive than both of the Red Sox wins. Looking at the top Cubs players last year that were either drafted, signed, or traded for by Theo:

Bryant, Rizzo, Lester, Hendricks, Russell, Fowler, Arrieta, Zobrist, Lackey, Soler, Hammel, Chapman, etc. Really the only contributors that were in the system when Theo arrived were Contreras and Baez.

With the Red Sox, he walked in and already had Manny, Varitek, Damon, Lowe, Wakefield, and Nixon. And even on that 2007 team, he had Youkilis, Varitek, Manny, and Wakefield

And the balls to play Schwarber in the series after Schwarber hadn't seen the field since game 3 of the season, and had only warmed up a week with pitching machines and AA pitchers... and goes 7 for 17.

Theo is great, but i think he spent this offseason drinking a lot of champagne, cause that Cubs team is mightily flawed.......Especially that BP
