Red-eye Wings vs Flames GNT

After a spirited game against Vancouver last night, the Wings boarded a plane for a 52 minute flight to Calgary to take on the Flames at the Saddldeome tonight.

Flames have gone 6-0-1 in their last 7 games at home and played a pretty complete game in their last outing against Minnesota. Detroit is playing their 3rd game in 4 nights, thus this is a great chance for Calgary to take advantage of a team that may be a little banged up.

not to mention that the game last night was played at such a high pace/intensity that the flames cant replicate imo ... i dont see any of their forwards getting behind the wings d ... and lidstrom will prob come back and have a big game ... plus the wings will want to give Conklin his first win since game #2 of the season
