Well sure, they'r the best in the east but at least 3 teams in the west better and will be for awhile.
2025 is my guess.

Could happen next year. How, you ask? Simple, the top 8 teams in the west are all really good. There are no cupcake 4-8 seeds like in the east. Whomever comes out of the west could have played 50% more playoff games to get there and are tired. Imagine if you are GS and you have to play DEN in round 1, then LAL in round 2, then HOU in round 3. Sure every team you played in the west is better than what the East throws at you, but you had to work way harder to get there.

Except,
Houston got worse and there is a huge chasm between GS and everyone else. Including LA.
While everyone wants to crown Boston today, GS currently has a larger gap between them and everyone else in the West than Boston does in the East.
Not unless they trade for Kawhi or GS has substantial injury issues. Not beating GS as is, with or without Kyrie and Hayward.
Maybe so, but even getting worse HOU is still a harder matchup for GS than BOS. So will LAL
Since that is the most likely Finals matchup, would you care to bet on the 2019 champ?
