Realinment?

I am hoping he NHL doesnt screw it up. IMO it should be this.

Personally I would like to put Nashville in the South of the EC and Washington in the Central of the EC, but I cant for the life of me think of team to put into the Central of the WC from the EC... Then if they expand they can add one team to each conference.

True...
I read where Detroit and Columbus would join the Eastern Conference and they would have 16 teams and the West would only have 14. But I also read that Toronto and Quebec might have expansion teams, and then that really makes no sense, as they are Eastern teams that would not fit in the West.

If they add Quebec and another Toronto team then they need 16 in the West not the East.

The problem child is Phoenix - Maybe the NHL should actually try to get its financial house in order first and decide what is going to happen with that franchise before looking at realignment.

they only plan on 4 divisions,and the Central will have 4 of the original 6 teams

Never understood that. I always thought it'd be better to wear your colors at home and the generic "other team" jerseys on the road. Not sure how wearing white at home started as the standard anyway.

Dark colours hide the dirt better. Trains/hotels didn't have laundry rooms.
