We suck. Period. We'll win a game this year, but who knows who it will be against. It's disturbing how bad things have gotten during the MR years and even prior to that. Even with over 50 new players on this roster from last year, it still seems to be a culture of losing in that locker room that is scary.

My hope is that once this team gets a victory and feels what winning feels like finally things will start to click.

I would hope to God we can beat Purdon't at home this week. But at this point, nothing surprises me anymore. It has bee a year since Nebraska won last.

We are a very young team, our best players (for the most part) are freshmen. Crazy thing is by next year it should be well over 50% of the roster being CSF's guys, despite them still being young.

Are there any special players on the Nebraska team. It seems to me that their WR group returned, Speilman and Morgan were pretty good last year. Anybody else stand out, or did these 2 regress to match the rest of the team? What's going on there?

Theyve got good wideouts but the OL sucks and the QB group is unproven at best/bad at worst. The skill guys overall are adequate but when you cant block for them or get them the ball it doesht matter. Plus they turn it over every 10 plays or so and still cant play defense. Other than that theyve really got it good lol

Sadly this is pretty accurate. OL is probably the worst part about the team and it isn't size or anything like that (I am pretty sure our OL is bigger than Wisconsins), it is straight up talent and mentality (the want to). Watch the Michigan game, our QB no matter who it was was out there was running for their life with every snap and the sad part is that the OL should be expecting it. As for defense, we have about one solid player right now and one that is good but inconsistent. Turnovers and penalties have been a problem since Pelini and Riley obviously didn't address those issues in his brief tenure. But yeah, with that said... our wideouts are actually decent and our RBs when they can hold on to the ball and are getting blocks are ok. I think our QB Martinez could be a stud, but staying healthy when you are getting hit every snap is unlikely.

Didn’t you guys reachedule the FCS game, or was that a joke? Not trying to be a dick, I’ve sat through an 0-12 year, it fucking sucked. Wish we had an FCS team on the schedule that year.

There was a game during the RR era where Wisconsin threw the ball 1 time against us in the last half and just clobbered us. I suspect this will be the same.

I was going to say. As good as your OL is and as bad as both of our lines are, I'd be surprised if he had more than 10 passing attempts.

i grew up in Big 8 country in the 70's and 80's and it's really hard to accept what Nebraska has become ... I grew up with them being dominant and crushing opponents weekly so it's just strange to watch them losing all the time now. It's like I'm in an alternate universe.

It's hard to imagine that Nebraska and Arkansas have fallen this far. I wouldn't mind seeing both of these teams in the Big 12. Get some better recruiting grounds and see if they can come back.
