I am going out on a limb and saying that your team outscores my team in this league. Mainly because I am not in this league.:eek:

I do like your QBs and WRs. Big Ben is a good pick up for this style of league. When he is on he is one of the best in the NFL still, and he is on the majority of games. The problem with him is when he is off, he will kill you in a normal format.

I don't know who was left in the third round at RB, but that is where I see you having problems.

White, Lindsay, Cohen, Carson, Ingram (and Jacobs of course) were the RBs off the board after Mack.

Mack was RB20 off the board, Jacobs RB22. Just need to get RB2/ high end RB3 play out of those 2 slots and let my WRs carry the team.

I wasn't thrilled about it, but I thought you might have a decent shot at the playoffs. Then, I noticed that it looks to be a 14 man league. Now, I think it's a pretty decent playoff team. Not top end, but solid 2nd tier.

How deep (many teams) is the league?

13 team league, I picked 12th

No playoffs/schedule
Top score each wk gets $30, overall top 2 get paid at end, buy in is 50

Honestly wasn't overly impressed with any teams, including my own. Can post full results once last round finishes up

Last yr my WRs sucked, but I got lucky with #2 overall pick (Gurley/Mixon to start draft - Mixon became early 2nd rd pick closer to season) and landing Conner, Kittle, Cook late in the draft. Used RB/TE in my flex every week, wanted it to be WR this time. Half ppr, WR3s outscore TEs and RB2/3 types most wks

Yeah, 13-14 team, it looks pretty solid. I'll go out on a limb and say you'll 100% make the playoffs, and depending how 'hot' your guys are, could make a serious run.

Got no problem with your team except at RB. I like Mack. Plays on a good offense. The rest of your backs woukd make me nervous, especially loading up on Raiders, who had the 28th ranked scoring offense last year. Too much hype on Jacobs IMO.

Well dammit, now I had to dig through the games last year.
Lynch had a strong, to very strong start to the year, Martin/Richard piled up yds/rec.

Not expecting Jacobs or Richard to go crazy, but low end RB2 isn't out of the question when you don't have to choose which one to put in your starting lineup.

OAK Top RB Performance by week:
40 rush yd 1TD (Lynch)
65 rush yd 1TD (Lynch)
64 rush yd 1TD (Lynch)
130 rush yd 27 rec yd 0 TD (Lynch)
*Got asses handed to them by Chargers* (Lynch); 6rec 50yd (Richard)
*Got asses handed to them by Seahawks* (Lynch); 7rec 48yd (Richard)
89 total yds (Martin); 8rec 50yd (Richard)
69 total yds (Martin); 4rec 45yd (Richard)
92 total yd (Martin); 5rec 50yd (Richard)
94 total yd (Richard)
72 total yd (Martin)
126 total yd (Richard); 67 total yd (Martin)
*Beat Steelers, but ground game sucked in all aspects*
76 total yd (Richard); 65 total yd (Waller)
116 total yd (Martin)
101 total yd (Martin)

not as bad as 28th in scoring would suggest, imo

Didn't mean to make you do all that homework.
Just my opinion.
It's my personal rule never stockpile players from bad teams.
Martin = 101.9 pts
Richard = 88.6 pts
Lynch = 64 pts
Stands to reason that someone is gonna get Lynch's touches (105).

If you filter out the bad experts on FP(Only use guys that have ranked in the top 10 over the past 2 seasons) they have Mack at 35(RB15) and Jacobs at 38 overall(RB16) in PPR

Good stuff.
I think Mack and Jacobs are a classic example of 2 backs heading in different directions. Mack may be viewed as a placeholder for the future Colts RB1, which may push his redraft value down. Whereas Jacobs is viewed as the answer and even tho there's uncertainty in the Raiders and with rookies, his value is climbing.

I'm thinking we see a volume dependent RB2 in Jacobs, and I'm betting that Mayock and Gruden want to prove they were right in trading away stars for a late 1st round picks, so they're invested in getting Jacobs the ball as well (Richard was more insurance/cuff type pick, since he was decent as an unheralded PPR RB after lynch injury)

Well for me: being this is 13 teams.

QB-perfect best ball guys, big upside and big weeks from ben with stinkers, same with cousins, and carr well always like 3-4 good games, so sprinkled around u should be covered well

RB-again upside guys. I think mack gets run, again, he did late last year, and they pumped him up as a 3 down back. High powered offense , yep gimme some of that. Jacobs is the hot rookie that grudens gonna want to prove he was right selecting. Ito im not a fan of at all. He was not good last year. Hes dependent on freeman sucking. ajayi has immense upside if he finds the right team. ware is a handcuff. Kinda banking on mack and jacobs to roll here actually.

WR- Julio is great, incosistent, but great. Watkins is in line for a massive year. Robby anderson carries over his end of year form and hes a top 15 guy. tre quan almost has to get better from last year. Meh demarucs.

TE- vance is a monster if healthy, and gesicki should offer a step forward

for 13 teams your're very strong and definite playoffs i would think. from there its a toss up, as always.
