Wash doesn't want to use prospects ... and Buzz made his little pitch early in the game how it wasn't fair to the prospects to get thrown into the middle of it ... and not fair to the other players. Like crappy play from MY and IK is fair.

Guess Wash came up with this philosophy that announcers say is what Wash has always felt based on his experience as a player.

Apparently he didn't remember that was his experience and philosophy until after burning any talent that Chris Davis or Julio Borbon had by forcing them onto the field (or DH in the case of Borbon) every night.

Wash's "philosophies" are whatever suits his assinine decisions at the moment. JD needs to remove him from this staff this winter.

Hopefully his piss poor management and lineups don't cost us the world series until then.

Young has been teasing like that for a while now, then I go look at his numbers and he still has basically the same cruddy numbers he's had since June, he's just trading HRs for doubles at this point

It's promising to see some pop in his bat though. Physically he may be coming out of this awful funk but he's got to change his approach at the plate so he's not always jumping at the first pitch he sees and swinging off his front foot. I honestly think its plate discipline as much as anything now. Look at his walks this season. That's an awful number.

Moreland, for defensive and offensive purposes, needs to be the 1B in NL parks, with Young drinking a nice cup of STFU on the bench

And honestly, even in AL parks, Murphy needs to be DHing while Gentry mans CF, defense is at a premium in the playoffs, even a "casual" fan can see this

Yeah, but we all know Young will at the very least be in the dh spot every game. I just hope he let's Mitch play the NL parks if it gets to that point. MY could actually be a good pinch hitter option coming off the bench when you need a righty that will most likely make some contact.
