Way too many breaking balls up and/or in the middle in the 6th, Darvish is lucky they didn't score, but yeah he was definitely gassed.

Now let's just score one freaking run :noidea:

The bottom line is that they are a 112 million dollar payroll, and they are not playing like it. The FO isn't going to pay that much to come in second place back to back years.

There's no guarantee in sports. Right a 112 million dollar payroll on a team that's been injured this year and have had a collective offensive slump and still about what 8 games over .500? And you're assuming they'll be second place. They can be a wildcard team and get in that way. The thing is that it is July 27 and there is plenty of baseball to be played. Getting rid of Wash won't magically make the hitters hit. I don't buy that nonsense.

Plus the organization still makes money with that payroll. They have the money and attendance is still solid at RBIA.

Injuries are an excuse, and a bad one at that. I am talking about going in a new direction next year.

There wasn't a whole lot JD could do this offseason

Are you sure about that? Justin Upton was in the market. Not saying he'd be the cure of everything but he was on the market. Stanton while not seriously in the market is there to be had if the right package is dealt. It's not like the FO couldn't do anything. They just didn't do anything that would indicate this offense would be that great and with Elvis and Murphy shitting the bed thus far the offense has just been inconsistent and not fluid all season long.

Ok what new direction are you taking? Injuries are an excuse? Well it's reality to me but you don't like Wash so you will never accept anything that will give Wash any leniency and benefit of the doubt but that's fine. It is what it is.

Did you want to trade Elvis for Upton? That's the only way it was going to happen. After his crazy hot start, Upton has been pretty average.

Haha you guys are fine.
Might as well bring in Swisher to pitch, he'd probably end up shutting out the Rangers and save Masterson a little bit of pitches.

Moreland sucks, might as well move Kinsler to first next year

Considering his salary and production he's not bad. Moreland just hasn't put it all together but I still believe that he'll be a fine and consistent 1B one day. Just need to be patient with him but of course if he's part of a trade package then I am ok with that too.
