I think that shows the fallacy of exit velocity being the be all end all. I think It is important to some degree, but folks always seem to overreact to the latest new stat. It also completely ignores the importance of hitters being able to use bat control in how they hit. Guys who can simply slap the ball the opposite way, because no defenders are in that area, are completely undervalued by those who think every ball should be hit hard.

I had a hard time getting in last as well. Just gave up after awhile
