I wonder why. He is hitting 265 with 7 doubles and 6 HRs with 35 RBIs at Albuquerque. I know he's 28 but he still has some years left in him.

I think it is because they needed the 40-man spot and he has guys blocking him at 1B on the club

That all depends on how long CY stays here and if the Rangers are buyers at the deadline this year. I do think Scarborough, Russell, and Castillo will have good big league careers somewhere.

was obtained in January from the Yankees for a #23 prospect.
