JIm Bowden was right about one thing and this team is not a contender. 3-5 on this road trip playing 3 bad teams should tell you all you need to know. Rangers are closer to being a bad team than a contender.

Nate pitched well tonight. He cant be expected to go 6 or 7 innings every start and give up 0 or 1 run. He gave up a hr tonight to a hall of famer.
Just not enough offense against a rooke pitcher plus the mgr made some suspect decisions tonight. Also dont understand his musical chairs of the line-up every game

I am sure Skip is frustrated but I see Duran hitting all the way down to 7th. Seems kinda of low for a guy who has been hitting well.
Osuna in the clean up spot was puzzling. Maybe he should leading off and get the DH out of that spot. Then during the game Skip takes out Osuna who was 3 for 3 for a old and washed up Cutch. Just a few observations here.

If it wasn't for Duran, Foscue and Osuna hiw bad woukd this team be. I don't think the front office went into the season expecting to be able to rely on those three guys. Even with those guys doing well it is hard to generate any consistency on offense.

I noticed yesterday that all 5 AL West teams are in the bottom 7 when it comes to remaining strength of schedule. So, 5 of the 7 easiest remaining schedules belong to the AL West teams. I guess that is because they have so many games against each other. Lol.
