Nimmo not playing a smart game. First he challenged a pitch that was obviously a strike. Then swings at the first pitch with the bases loaded right after Joc walks.
Goes on an MLB national interview then this

That might be enough for Quantrill. Would consider taking him out after this inning. 85 pitches

The Rangers going to blow this game because their offense sucks.

You cant keep expecting to win games scoring 2 runs a game.
I go back to when the bases were loaded and Nimmo didnt show no patience. You said it he swung on the first pitch

We’re about to lose 3 of 4 to the worst team in baseball. We are really bad

We even made a pitcher with an ERA of over 5 look good tonight. How is that possible. And I know Langford has reverted back to being awful again but he should be in the starting lineup and not Kelenic.

Pablo Guerrero is quietly putting together a pretty good sesson. An injury kept him out until late June, when he began a rehab assignment in the ACL. He played there for a few days before moving on to Hickory. In 95 AB in Hickory he is slashing .326/.443/.537/.980. He just turned 20 years old a couple of wweks ago. Last year he struggled at Hickory, but he was only 18 for most of the season. I wonder if he will get a couple of weeks with Hub City to end the season.

I think the Rangers will win a very low-scoring game this evening.

My streaking Blue Jays are most thankful for those last 2 L's, now sitting 1.5 games back for the last WC spot.

From Tepid:

Seb Walcott went 2-4 tonight with a walk and 3R scored. He has a new, closed set up and he just looks really dangerous in every AB. It would no longer surprise me if he plays in the bigs a little bit this season. He’s a potential impact player.

Looking ahead to who the Rangers might need to protect from the Rule 5 draft.

Arturo Disla
Yeison Morrobel
Wilian Bormie

The big question is, will there even be a Rule 5 draft. The last time we had a lockout, the Rule 5 draft was canceled.

The problem with adding anyone to the 40-man roster between now and the end of the year is that those guys will not be able to play, even in the minors, while there is a lockout. A lockout would prevent anyone on the 40-man roster from playing at any level.

If there is a lockout, when would it begin ? After the regular season ?

I believe that the current CBA expires at the end of the day December 1. So the lockout would begin then.
