Skip sure makes some stupid moves. Why you pitch to Trout there
I don’t agree with a lot of his moves like stacking LH Lopez, Pedersen, Seager and Nimmo. Angels bring in LH in 7th/8th and Joyce faces 3 RH in the ninth.

Bringing in Silseth to start an inning I totally agree with him on that with Silseth’s high inherited runner scoring percent. I’m surprised he actually figured that out on his own.

Pitchers who have otherwise struggled have career games against the Rangers. And this happens all the time. At some point, likely by 2028, they will have to clean house and start over. These players and this lineup construction are just not getting it done.

So the Rangers bailed on Heim Adolis and Marcus. Added Nimmo and Jansen
Hard to rebuild entire team in one year

But to me the spots they should modify are DH 2B 3B 1B and RF.
Suggested lineup
1B Nimmo
2B ?
SS. Seager
3B Zeke
LF Wyatt
CF Evan or FA
RF. Walcott
Catcher Jansen or Logan
DH ? Or rotate
Is anybody ready in the farm next year. Cam and Foscue don’t look like starters to me

2 irrelevant teams played last night in Anaheim and after the 1 first batter of the top of the 3rd inning 1 team got 3 singles, scored 0 runs the rest of the game and the other team 7 hits scored 5 runs. the irreverent team #1 lost, irreverent #2 won

I wasn't able to watch the game but it seems Duran left a bunch of people on base. Or maybe that was the game before.

At the present time, I can't justify counting on anyone except Nimmo and Jung for next year. I don't know what we have with Carter or Langford any longer.

Seager may be the new Rougned Odor, someine who has a contract, but who shouldn't be starting. If he hits well the rest if the year, I will be willing to reconsider. Same for Wyatt and Evan. Right now, I can't count on any of them for the future though.

Even though I trust Nimmo to hit next year, why not trade him before he ages out if that contract?

This team's lineup is a mess.

We had better hope Walcott and at least 2 or 3 of those guys at Frisco pan out or this is going to be an extended rebuild.

I am good with Bradford, Leiter and Rocker going into next year. Kumar and Jack need to continue to improve and be more consistent, but there is no resson to assume that can't happen.

For the future, I feel better about Pence than any of our young prospect pitchers, and better than most of the ones who have come through our system in several years.

Everyone loves Caden Scarborough, but I want to see him have a lot more success before feeling the same way.

Can you really count on Jung. Seems like he spends more time on the IL than on the field.

Not yet. Zeke can play out there but if Walcott stays in the IF I trust Zeke to sub in at SS more than him

Would not be surprised if they made our promising AA guys play in AAA first before rostering then minus Walcott and the rule 5 eligible ones

Yeah, I expect that as well.

It is probably going to be half way into next year before they even consider bringing one of them up, with maybe the exception of Walcott.

MlB Pipeline has released their new Top 100 Prospects list. The Rangers have 3 players on it for the first time in awhile.

9 Sebastian Walcott
77 Caden Scarborough
97 Gio Rojas

They also released a new top 30 for the Rangers. Arturo Disla and Yeison Morrobel did not make it for some reason. John Taylor did come in at #22 though.

Maybe Walcott takes over at 3B when Jung goes to free agency.

Leiter and Pence pitch for Round Rock tonight, and for the Rangers at some point next year.
