Hate to hear that, but it confirms my thinking that JD was ultimately justified in the move.

Most bad teams would be fine with their manager being fired and some good teams would. To me when they reported that it was like a dog bites man story.

I wonder how JD and company view Profar now? Do they try to sign him to a contract this offseason?

I also wonder how all of the media members in town who once suggested Profar was a complete bust feel about him now. I believe it was Craig Miller from the morning show on The Ticket who was saying just a few months ago that he didnn't think Profar would ever amount to much.

I wonder if maybe JD changed his mind about him over the last couple of seasons. It didn't seem like anyone in the organization thought too highly of him a year ago.

I agree but don’t think JD was willing to give up on him or he would have traded him as was pushed

Profar has problems due to injury and is finally well. That was a factor in not being played. But historically the FO though of him higher than Wash or Banny IMO.

JD is a bit old school as he does not put a heavy hand on micromanaging the manager.
Interesting enough Jayce T is on the field who I believe is a JD guy
