Series Thread: Rangers Host the Twins For Three Games September 23-25

I have been following the Rangers' possible draft pick slot closely over the last few days. I am really hoping the Rangers can get within the top 9. It is actually top 12, but there are 3 teams that can not choose any higher than 10th.

In other words, if we don't choose in the top 9 we would have to choose no better than 13th. Going back to the 2024 draft you can see why selecting 9th instead of 13th to 16th is a really big deal. That 9th selection in 2024 was Konnor Griffin. The 13th selection was James Tibbs. Konnor Griffin is now the top prospect in baseball. Tibbs is not in the top 100.

So, it would really be great if we lost the last three games and the Giants and Cardinals won 2 and the Royals won at least 1. Of course we would still have to hope no one 13th or worse gets a lottery pick.

I think there is s good.chance Cleve sweeps us as long as Cleve has something to play for on Sunday. Plus our guys cant wait till this season is over.lol

I would also expect changes to make the park pitcher hitter neutral
