Series Thread: Rangers Host the Tigers For Three Games July 2-5

The first place Texas Rangers take on the Tigers this weekend. It is another odd 4-day/3-games series due to the World Cup game at AT&T Stadium on Friday.

Eovaldi, Rocker and who knows will pitch for the Rangers. The Rangers are without Seager, Langford and maybe Nimmo.

As successful as the Rangers have been lately, it would only take maybe a 2-8 stretch to completely change the outlook, once again. We shall see.

I am going to the game tonight as they finally convinced me I have a chance of seeing a good game.

When I was studying for the draft a few years back, I became very fond of Walker Jenkins, both as a person and as a player. I was really hoping the Rangers would draft him, but Langford, who was supposed to have already be taken, was dumped into our lap, and we selected him instead.
