Series Thread: Rangers Host the Mariners For Four Games July 24-27

In a couple of games we will probably hear Latz isn't available, in part, because he pitched today

Only thing that comes to my mind is with a BP game coming up maybe Skip was thinking they need everyone else more that they will need Latz in that game.

Bringing Latz in was dumb with a 5 run lead. And throwing 20 pitches. Should have saved him for the next series.

I think it’s because a lot of LH batters coming up, he didn’t want Latz coming in with guys on base and wanted to lock down the season series without sweating it. Just a guess.

Latz hadn’t worked since Friday. And with the pitching matchups next 2 games…well, unlikely we will be carrying a late lead.

So were having a bullpen game tomorrow, Gore on Wed and Montgomery on Thursday.
Wow we could be looking at being sweeped.

Rangers went from 27th best hitting team in the league to 10th.

The Texas Rangers are promoting Noah Franklin to the Hickory Crawdads (A).

Franklin put some sime amazing offensive numbers in the ACL this year.

Shawn McFarland wrote an article about John Taylor. I am glad to see someone besides me is paying attention to what Taylor has accomplished since signing with the Rangers a year ago.

On Twitter McFarland said:
