I just looked at the standings. Its says were in a tie with Houston for first place. That is a typo mistake right? Thought we were a game behind.

Yes, we are tied, but they have the tiebreaker. Same with Cleveland and us.

Duran cane into this season with 1173 plate appearances and most fans wanted to move on from him. Simetime it takes 1100 plate apoearance before a guy acclimates himself enough to be successful. Sometimes the decision makers and fans give up way too soon.

i am too but is this a real move forward on his part or a 1-time event.

he is one of the Rangers free agents at the end of the season along with Beeks, Diaz, Alexander Montgomery & Nicky Lopez plus we also face mutual options with Pederson @ $18.5M, Higashioka @ $7M & Junis @$5M. and we have Baumler, Corniell & Helman coming off the 60-day IL. unless we plan on trading a couple of starters we will have deGrom, Eovaldi, Leiter, Gore, Bradford & Rocker all locked into the roster.

personally i hate seeing him walk if another team opts to go after him but we have too many needs to fill.
