Yes indeed. I think it helps to correct an umpires strike zone if he is challenged successfully early in.

Getting off to these slow starts against the A's 3 days in a row does not help.

Exactly what I’m thinking so challenging early is 100% necessary

Burger does great at times and then disappears for awhile. If he can hit more consistently or not will tell the tale.

He got 10 of his RBI in a 5 game stretch and 6 in the first 4 games. In his other 18 games he has had 3 RBI. Hopefully, he starts to produce more consistently.

On a team that is 24th in the league in RBI, those 19 RBI do stand out. Seager is second on the team and he has struggled mightily, overall.
