Nice job by Elvis to drive in Ian, but total boneheaded base running to get caught on the cutoff. Aggressive base running is great but you have to be smart about it.

Terribly route by josh on that ball. MY didn't have nearly enough on that throw to Ian to get the dp.

I sware, Nap may look even worse at the plate today than he did two weeks ago. I didn't even think that was possible.

Yeah, Naps is awful. I don't see him getting as hot as last year. In the first part last year he wasn't nearly this bad and was still getting on base a lot. He's just awful right now.

I hate to say it because I have liked him since he came to the team, but if Nap doesn't find his bat soon I think JD might have to think about making a deal for a new catcher. The Rangers can't afford two catchers that can't hit.

Nice that fans voted him an AS ... but he might be better if he just took the days off. Course ... maybe he enters the HR derby and gets untracked. Usually it works the other way and deadens a guy for the second half ... but maybe it wakes Napoli up.

Too many lame ABs. Yu deserved better support. YT had a pretty nice night with 2 hits ... but I want a picture of him laying on his back getting tagged out by Weeks. Was funny if not tragic.

How was that pickoff move not a balk?

20/20 hindsight ... would have been a good night to start Gonzalez and Snyder at 3rd and 1st. Would give Young or Napoli 2 days off before the @ CHW series. But am sure TEX thought it was putting its best lineup out there to support Yu's AS voting.

He's very good. Pitching from the stretch Blackley did not ever appear to bring his right foot behind his left leg even when he went to the plate. Means on every pitch he can go to first even in the middle of the delivery and not get called. Holland keeps his front foot in front of his back leg ... but only when he makes the pickoff move. If he were able to adjust to Blackley's delivery ... Holland might have the same results Blackley has.

Okay, but once is kick leg starts towards home does he not have to go home? Every time he'd start home and throw to first. Sometimes he'd go home anyways, but he was obviously still looking for a chance to throw over.
