Mike Adams Not Available To Pitch This Weekend

Ranger reliever Mike Adams will not be available to pitch this weekend, and there is some question if he will be ready for the playoffs. Adams has been experiencing pain in the muscle in his back behind his right shoulder. The pain is thought to be nerve related.

Adams says he is very frustrated by the problem, but realizes that he is not helping the team pitching with shoulder pain. Adams gave up 3 Home Runs in one inning against the A’s yesterday afternoon.

Mike Adams Not Available To Pitch This Weekend

You have got to be kidding me. What a horrible-looking completely lucky catch by Trumbo. Awkwardly running backwards looking over his head after misjudging the ball and he manages to spin at the last minute and the ball somehow finds his glove. Give me a break. The baseball gods owe the Rangers two runs.

Dumpster's ERA against the Angels was 14.63. Good choice to start him. Is it over 20 yet?

Well he is hanging almost every slider right out over the middle of the plate tonight. He isn't going to last very long if he can't regain some control.

Very dissapointed in Dempster. He has been hammered by this team since coming here in the trade. Starting to wonder how reliable he is going to be against good hitting teams in the playoffs.

Just once against Balt. His wins have come agianst Seattle, Boston Minn, KC and Cleve. He did win against LA but he still got hammered

The score could easily be 2-2 or 3-2 Texas. Ianetta's HR barely cleared the left field wall and Beltre's warning track shot was hit much, much harder. And Napoli's shot to the wall should have made it by Trumbo. Trout has the only 2 hard-hit balls for the Angels tonight. They've been very lucky so far.

I am so sick of our weak fans sitting in the front row not fighting the fielders for foul balls. They just cower and let the fielder reach over them to catch it.

At least Tom Grieve just called them out and told the fans watching at home that they have every right to try to catch the ball so the opponent won't.
