One night after work last week I thought to research their exact record, and I found it cool that the two best players on the best team record-wise were also part of the worst team in franchise history.

Building from the ground up...

Not even a Bucks fan, but I wish more championship teams were built this way. Doubt they win it all this year though for reasons explained in the other thread.

Got to see Middleton play in person when he was a little-known 21-year-old rookie in Detroit during the spring of 2013. Was impressed oh how he let the game come to him at such a young age and said at the time he could flourish with more minutes.

To this day, that remains the best scouting job of my lifetime given that he's now a 28-year-old two-time all-star...

But they didn't draft Middleton. It wasn't built...it was bought. Regardless, they team will be forgotten pretty quickly if they don't win a Championship. Giannis will be remembered for a long time but everything else will be forgotten. Hope they get one as well.

This is how titles are rightfully won - Through bumps and bruises, perseverance, development, and maturity.

Likewise, it would have been similarly as impressive had Phoenix won with Booker, Ayton, and Bridges all part of arguably the worst Suns team in franchise history just two short years ago….
