I'm just going to post a few Mariners stats in here when I get curious about something and research it.

Robbie Cano, over his last 114 games dating back to July 1st of last season, is slugging .559. His career high over a season was with the Yankees in 2012 when his slugging percentage was .550.

Robbie also has 29 homeruns and 88 RBI over the last 114 games. These stats also give some credence to the thought that not only was Robby hurt in the first half of last season but he may also have had a physical impairment in 2014 which lead to an inability to get a full, powerful swing on the baseball.

The team's won-loss record when Felix starts is 4-3 including wins in each of his last three starts. Maybe him being 'over the hill' isn't as big off an issue as we are making it out to be.

In Miley's starts the team is 4-2 and has won 3 straight.
In Karn's starts the team is 5-1 and has won 5 straight.
In Walker's starts the team is 3-3 and he has not looked good in his laast two starts. So maybe it wasn't such a good idea to let him rack up three consecutive starts with a pitch count over 100.
In Iwakuma's starts the team is 3-4. Iwakuma has been the weak link. I'm concerned, which is why we should not use Paxton as trade bait.

Through 13 home games, Mariner attendance sits at 333, 479, which is 11th out of 15 American league teams.
Last year the Mariners attendance after 13 home games was 372, 267. Attendance is down 3000 tickets per game.

They are averaging 38,980 per weekend game and only 14,354 per weekday game. That is one crazy fluctuation. Gotta give away more bobbleheads on Wednesday nights I guess.

The team's pre-season hype from the national media last year probably inflated the early season ticket sales last year, which is why attendance this year is down when compared to last year. Don't be alarmed. This will change if this team continues to play at its current level.
