Yeah, the YPA is pretty bad but looking at it, that has been something that was always an issue. Looking over his whole career, there's only a handful of games that even skewed that number upward. He's kind of a checkdown guy, all things considered. Maybe DCs have figured that out and say, make him beat us downfield and he just isn't consistently accurate enough. Not sure, just guessing here.

The overwhelming narrative is that the Jags coaches suck ass and Lawrence is fine..

but I'm a little suspect of that because it has to be the narrative since they already paid Lawrence.

Man, I just can't talk crap about Justin Herbert. I think he has the Matt Stafford career arc personally. Hopefully with a trade but probably not.

Herbert is banged up so often. Not Joey Bosa often but often. This is clearly a rebuilding year for the Chargers. If he sucks next year then I'll talk crap but his oline yesterday was like a walking pre-snap penalty. Quentin Johnston is the bust every random person on reddit thought he would be.

It's a pretty good guess because that's my evaluation as well. Now I can't see very many complete Jags games, who would want to? But from what I've seen it's pretty obvious that Trevor Lawrence just isn't that good.

And I do believe Herbert is a bit overrated. True franchise QB for sure but a step below the top guys IMO.

That completion percentage as a checkdown player is atrocious.

I honestly think Harbaugh is likely too good of a coach to let a full Stafford scenario happen. The Chargers are set at OT and their defense is in at least a decent spot moving forward. They have three of their best players injured right now. Herbert himself seems banged up. Keenan Allen was one of the best players on the Chargers for 10 of the past 11 years.

I expect the Chargers to be a playoff team in 2025. Herbert likely isnt going anywhere but certainly if this rebuild busts then maybe you might see the Chargers just blowing the whole thing up.

I find it funny Von Miller can get suspended for something that happened LAST year that he was never charged over, and Rashee Rice can still play football even though what he did happened a few months ago.

The NFL conducted their own investigation, and suspended him based on those findings.
