Speculation is he is moving the Rams back to LA. LA Rams were a great rival and LA SF games again would be great.

Ah, the land of part time waiters, smog, and raged idiots.

Yes, sounds like a good place for the Rams.

This would suck. Living close to St. Louis this is the one game of the 49ers I get to see every year and if that got taken away I would be pissed.

If this is true expect more stabbings & shootings at NFL games.

Just move to LA already. At least it would lessen the miles the Niners have to travel.

They should then make the AFC West division be Seattle, LA Rams, San Diego Chargers, and Oakland Raiders. then you could make the Niners, the Cardinals, the Vikings, and Denver Broncos be the NFC West. Make this move after Manning retires. ;) Then put Indianapolis Colts, Kansas City Chiefs, Cleveland Browns, and Tennessee Titans in the AFC Central division. I know that doesn't exist, but that's where they are. Baby a different teams in the Cleveland Browns, they're little bit more north.

Jacksonville should go to LA if anything. And then add them to the NFC West. :D

I don't buy this story because its unlikely Kroenke would actually buy the land himself - he knows he'll be able to get someone to give him a stadium for free or huge discount eventually. I'd suppose the real purpose of this land would be to raise the threat level to STL to build him a new stadium. Guys like this don't buy their own stuff when they know they can threaten and coerce cities into *giving* it to them......long-standing policy of the Walton family that made him his fortune.

And there is the dream right there. Basically if any team goes there joins the NFC west I will be happy. I get to go to at least 1 Niners game a year and all the teams in the mix to move are perennial losers so it works out. The NFC West teams deserve a cupcake in the division. Even before their records were good, they were still the most physical teams in the league (along with Steelers and Ravens at the time)

I wonder where the Jags will move now, will that mean they move to STL? They should just move to LA and start a whole new name and identity, leave the Rams in STL.
