I know, that was a gamble... BUT, the Raider got a first-round picks in 2019 and 2020, a third-round pick in 2020 and a sixth-round pick in 2019 for trading Mack... Raiders are gonna have 4 1st round picks in the next 2 years so depending how the Bears do, it could be 2 high 1st rounders, if the Bears end up having a good year that hurts a little obviously... But still, IF he nails some of those top picks the Raider could find themselves turning things around quickly...

Hard to say, but if the ship sinks it’s gonna be all on Gruden... We’ll be getting back to this in 2-3 years, if the Raiders aren’t improving by then he’ll be on the hot seat for sure ....

I thought Gruden was a crap coach in his later years in Tampa so I didn't like this hire ....

Having said that, the fact that Gruden knows he has a long leash because of that hilarious contract, he has the luxury to rebuild the entire roster if he wants to ... aiming for 2020 and beyond is probably what he's doing

Give Gruden time to get the people he wants in place.

Well, expensive players, but yeah.

He's gonna try to liquidate everything that ain't his it looks like. If I legitimately believed he thought this was a tank year, I'd give Gruden a lot more credit.

Right, but it all depends if he nails some talent, between that, free agency, teams can turn around pretty quickly... IF they nail it, everyone wants to, it just doesn't always work out that way....

Than you trade your best young player to get more picks, betting on their potential instead of consistent all pro production, seems to slow down your rebuilding even further.
