I saw them at Lollapolooza in '93. They were relatively new still and not that many folks knew of them. They were on the main stage, but the crowd was pretty small. They were great.

Tangential....I just looked at the lollapolooza lineup for 2019...Holy fuck, what happened to that festival!? The headliners? Ariana Grande!? The Strokes!? What in the actual fuck?


93 lineup...Primus, Alice in Chains, Rage, Tool....2019...Ariana fucking Grande.

Wow.

All the cool festivals either are now lame, dying, dead, or are dying after a long stretch of lame.

Just read an article about AEG is dumping Bumbershoot after loosing millions on it after they took over some years ago. Maybe don’t simultaneously price people out while bringing in acts no one cares about... is the lesson they should have learned.
