Blue Jays becoming the team I thought they might be this season

I don’t see any team below Toronto in the AL emerging or getting on a serious role

seems those 8 are good/great teams, while the teams on the outside are pretty bad teams

NL entirely different, I can make a case for every team there other than Pittsburgh

MIami/SF/Colorado are the 3 teams I could see falling out

Mets/Zona/Cincy/Nats/Phils

none of these emerging into the 8 would surprise me

I think you are spot on but I truly think you can add the Tigers, Royals, Rangers, Mariners in the AL. As for the NL outside the Pirates all still have a chance.

With that said, all you need is one team to get sick (IE..Cards) and eventually will have to forfeit games.

Yeah I have the Astros as the 6-seed. That's why they are playing the 3-seed in the Twins.

And the only ties when I wrote that was Rays/Twins

Rays win the tiebreaker because of the better intradivisional record

Yes the Indians would now be ahead of Chicago. Head to head is first but Rays/Twins don't face each other

Tiebreaker games will be eliminated, with ties broken by head-to-head record, followed by better record within a team's division and record in the last 20 games within the division. If there is still a tie, the standard would be last 21 games within a division, then 22, etc.

Teams could finish the regular season with differing numbers of games played; regular-season postponements will be made up at Manfred's discretion.

so rays hold tiebreaker cause they are 19-9 in division and twins are 11-9 though twins lost and rays won yesterday so doesnt matter anymore
these standings will change daily with in AL with Os only team with a chance to get in

Yup that's why I had Rays at the 2-seed and Twins in the 3-seed.

Man, sure would be nice to split these last 2 games with the Cubs. Lester and Hendrick, thought STL has gotten to Lester a bit, but Hendricks seems to control them. If you do Daily Fantasy, get Hendrick, he'll K 10.
