Must have been a new company putting it on. I've been watching that show since they first started them and that was by far the weakest ever.

That was also such a horrible move on their part.
That tournament was bringing in big bucks, but the owner of Champions decided he didn't want the hassle anymore. So it's just gone now.

I remember a few years ago they were talking about moving it to the new Arnold Palmer Deer Creek course, but that kind of went away and it stayed at Champions Run.
Either way it seems Champions cut the budget on the 4th of July fireworks display.

Well I have a friend who works there so he told us all about it.
He has no idea why they called it off though either.
He was baffled at how poor the fireworks were beings the amount of money that was supposedly shelled out.

Maybe there was a malfunction in the program? The grand finale seemed to be in two separate parts. An initial part, then a long pause, then a second part. When we were driving away they launched one more mortar as if to just get rid of it.
If the two parts had not had the pause, I think it would have been a better grand finale.
There had to have been a malfunction.
