So, my buddy and I are splitting a league like this and somebody dropped Aaron Jones. The auction is Sunday morning, which could mean in an hour or sometime after the sun is up. Neither one of us has been in a league like this, so we're a little unsure of the average bids for some of these players. I looked back in the transactions and there were 6 auctions earlier this week. The budget is 200 for the season.

Ross - 77
Crowder - 41
Hollywood - 25
McLaurin - 11
Patriots D - 11
Hardman - 8

I think Ross is a crazy bid, but this seems like a crazy league. I don't think it would be wise to bid anywhere near that, though. My buddy suggested 20. It sounds a little low to get him, but he may slip through the cracks since he was just cut 1 day ago.

In my leagues a potential homerun at RB would be getting bids over 50% of the yearly budget no way 20 is even close.

I would say at least the $40-50 it took to land crowder, but stomp is prob right, it'll prob take closer to 50% of budget to land a starting RB coming off 1 bad game.

Let's see if everyone that faces the bears D gets dropped after bears shut them down, lol

The Ross and Crowder buds are stupid.

That said, Aaron Jones is actually worth that kind of money.

I think $80 is the min bid to give you a chance and I might even consider going all in on this one. You basically get a free 3rd round pick if you land him.

1 thing to look at is how much money other league mates have.

Of course, the waiver formatting makes a big difference. Once players clear waivers, do they become free agents? Or do they go back on waivers for another round of bidding?

This detail makes a huge difference

It'll take 80 if no one likes him. He's probably going for 111+

How many teams?

So, I bid 20, expecting us to confer a little more about it then change it if I had to. I never heard back from my buddy, so I passed out. He went for 22.

A shame because that was one of those golden opportunities and it went really really cheap.

Yup. I blame my partner. He never texted me back.

Mclaurin is looking like he may settle in as the Skins number one.
