I've been out of the loop for a while and was hoping you all may be able to help out. Has anyone been hearing anything out of the bowl practices, who is getting reps, taking snaps, etc. It seems to be very quiet, anyone have any facts or rumors?

As of a few days ago Trick still wasn't cleared to practice yet. Havnt heard or seen anything since I read that. I would assume until he is that Howard will be getting all the first team reps until he is cleared.
Dana has insisted that when he gets healthy that Trick will start.

Thanks GoldRusher. It just seems that there isn't much of anything coming out of any of the practices so far. Not even sure how many practices there have been .

"Holgorsen said the team has been mostly working in the weight room and going to class since the end of the regular season. When the Mountaineers resume practice they will work until a few days before Christmas, be dismissed for a break and then likely reassemble in Memphis on Christmas day."

Sumlin not only carried on with the offense after Holgorsen left for Oklahoma State and then WVU, he hired one of Holgorsen’s assistants, Jake Spavital, to run it at A&M.

I expect major issues against Texas A & M. It seems we don't do very well against Holgerson's ex-coaching buddies. They will know every wrinkle we have. Could be a long and ugly day.

WVU knows every wrinkle of A&M too… shit goes both ways…

While WV didn't exactly light it up the 2nd half of the season, T A&M was beaten up the last half of their season. After winning their first 5 games, they dropped 5 of their last 7. So both teams are 7-5. Here are their 5 losses (against some pretty strong competition):

It's tight no matter how you slice it. It comes down to the same thing it has come down
to for WVU this entire season - Red Zone scoring and holding on to the DAMN ball (TO).
If we don't turn the ball over and score TDs when get inside the 20 - WVU wins.
If we turn the ball over on our side of the field and can't score TDs when we
have the opportunity - we lose.
