I moved to Fort Worth back in December and I live about two miles away from Amon G. Carter Stadium, subsequently I do plan on attending a number of TCU games despite being a UW fan.

Pretty simple question for ya'll:

What are the dos and don'ts of going to a TCU game? I won't need to worry about parking and I'm not concerned much about ticket prices.

Or another way of putting that question is, what would you say to someone going to their first TCU game? I expect I will enjoy the experience and will highly consider getting season tickets next year, I balked on getting them this year because I've yet to go to a game there and see where in the stadium I'd like to sit.

Thanks in advance.

My mom and all of my siblings are living in Dallas, and I've been to several TCU games....Horn Frog fans in general are friendly and hospitable.

so just be friendly and respectable towards them. If you showed up early for the game, more than likely they would invite you to tailgate with them when they found out that you're a new kid in town....but remember that TCU fans and students are very wealthy people, so there are plenty of snobby **** too.

Same as a Naval Academy game. Most college towns will be pretty respectful if you are in turn, but the **** are always about.

Appreciate that!

I will say that in the time I've lived here, I can't see myself ever leaving. Everyone here is so incredibly friendly. In my first 9 months here, I've made more friends than I made in my last 5 years living in the Seattle area and I don't believe that to be any fault of my own.

Thanks again buddy!

I never understood being an **** at a sporting event. We're all there to have fun.

I used to have my Orioles tickets above the visitor dugout. I had a lot of great conversations with away fans. One time, a Red Sox fan was trying to give me a lot of crap (because I was cheering for my team) and he got absolutely dunked on by someone who sat near me every year and knew they were my seats and how nice I was to everyone around me. Back in the days where you had three home series against division opponents, I got to know quite a few people that way.

Anyway, that guy left and never came back.

I’ve actually had worse experiences at Fed Ex Field with Redskins/Commanders fans than away fans. Something about football just turns people crazy.
