Yup no for the Kings but the Kings themselves, loosing to non playoff teams like Vancouver and Winnipeg. Kings had their fate in thier hands.

Oh well onwards and upwards. Likely opponent will be San Jose and we'll see what happens after that.

Was expecting the Ducks to win, and in a way it's better - the Ducks will be flying back and forth to Nashville whereas LA will never leave the state.

Both teams would have posed challenges for LA so it didn't matter to me who they played or if they won the division (would have been nice however). Keep in mind they had the second best record after Christmas, right behind Anaheim, so they are a very good team.

The Predators defense is very good, very deep, and I'm thinking if they can make life miserable for Perry, Getzlaf, etc. and Rinne actually plays to his usual self they could beat Anaheim in 6.
