Just to be official, since I haven't ever voted on this here, I'll openly say Brady. He's the one I would want at the helm on the final drive of the game to win it.

Dude, you can't win an argument vs a Tebow homer. In their delusional minds Tebow is somehow on the same level as Peyton. It's like arguing with a woman. You'll never win. Just stop and waste your time on something more useful, like internet ****.

This has nothing to do with Tebow. :wtf2:

It has to do with Mannings 3 turnovers and one of them lost the game in overtime.

Brady is the worst QB in the league as Manning reaches 500 career TDs.

Robert Horry > Magic Johnson??? Ummm, No. But they both won titles (even with the same team, and Horry won more). Yeah, and still a big fat No.

Ben Roth > Dan Marino??? No.

Tom Brady > Peyton Manning??? Well, at least this one is close. Worthy of a debate for sure. But I can't stand it when the only argument is Brady won more titles. Let's not just discount that Brady has played an entire career under the same coach and same owner (probably the 2 best both in the business). But I can't imagine another QB doing some of the things that Peyton has done his entire career.

Manning great regular season QB, Brady the better post season QB when the stakes are much higher.

If I had a choice between young Manning or young Brady, I would draft Brady.

Riiiiiiiiight

as for history,,,,

Terry Bradshaw,,,,,4 SB wins in 6 yrs

Joe Montana has 4 SB wins

Manning,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,1 SB win in 16 yrs

I don't see him as anything more than a good QB who never really lived up to his hype
Bart Starr - 5 NFL Championships (2 Super Bowl Wins) in 7 seasons.

Brady is OVERRATED! I am so sick of this Comparison. Tom Brady had way better teams then manning ever had. After watching these past couple years it's supposed to be Manning on the decline after that surgery he had. Instead it's Brady on the decline and Manning who is getting better then he was. Ignore the SB last year nobody could have beaten that defense and it's a team game, Brady had better teams and defense, plus the pats cheated for their Super bowls. Manning is going to finish his Career as a top 3 QB. Not everyone wins SB just look at Dan Marino. Manning > Brady.

Aaron Rodgers, better than both. As a Bears fan it hurts my soul to say it, but its true

I applaud your honesty.

Rodgers is the best quarterback in the league right now. Manning is a close second.

Dallas Clark was Manning product. He nothing before playing with Manning and nothing after playing with Manning.

And he doesn't make that many mistakes in big games. It's entirely overblown.

I'll give you the important points.

1. Manning led the largest comeback in conference championship game history against Brady in 06
2. Manning's playoff passer rating is higher than Brady's and Troy Aikman's, both multiple time super bowl winners.
3. His 5 home playoff losses are by a combined 14 points, the smallest margin ever.
4. Manning is the only quarterback to ever have two playoff losses where his last play was to set up a clutch field goal that was missed.(Luckily Brady had the most clutch kicker of all time by the name of Vinatieri and Manning was stuck with a drunk kicker by the name of Vanderjagt.)
5. Between 200-2012, Manning had the most fumbled completions by his receivers than any other quarterback. Everyone had a losing record when this happened in their games, except for Tom Brady (3-0).
6. Manning set the record for most completions and passing yards in a home playoff loss with 33 and 402 against San Diego in 2007. In that game he also completed 68% of his throws and had 3 td's yet his team still lost. This is one of his 8 1 and done games. did he choke in this game?
7. Manning has 3 of the 8 highest playoff losses in terms of QBR.
8. Against the Jets in 2010, Manning had a QBR of 108.7, the highest over for a quarterback in a home playoff loss. His last drive as the Colt's qb was putting the team ahead in the final minute, only to see his defense blow it against Mark Sanchez of all people.
9. Manning is the only qb in NFL history to lose 2 home playoff games despite throwing 3 td's.
10. Manning has high-quality playoff stats, but they have not led to wins.

In the regular season Manning wins 82.6 percent of his games when he has a passer rating of at least 85.0 (it is 77.8 percent in the 85.0-110.0 range).
In the playoffs Manning is 5-6 (.455) with a passer rating of at least 85.0. He has been at least 88.3 in each of his last five playoff losses.
The six losses are as many as Joe Montana (12-3), Tom Brady (10-2) and Brett Favre (11-1) have combined. The only other quarterbacks with a losing record (min. four games) are Warren Moon (2-4) and Ken Anderson (2-3).

If that is not bizarre enough, there is the fact that even when Manning and his entire offense avoids turnovers, he still loses at a most historic rate.

In the regular season Manning’s teams are 40-2 (.952) when they have zero giveaways on offense. That is the best record in the league since 1998.
In the playoffs Manning’s Colts were 1-5 (.167) when they had zero giveaways on offense. The rest of the league is 50-5 (.909), and that even includes two games where neither team had a giveaway.
When your defense allows a fourth-quarter comeback 60 percent of the time (6-4), you have a real problem. It is one thing to let Drew Brees do it, but when it’s Jay Fiedler, Billy Volek, Mark Sanchez and Joe Flacco? That is completely unacceptable.

Manning’s had a lead in the final 0:40 of the fourth quarter and lost four playoff games.
