PSN login help

I bought a used PS3, and the previous owner left their PSN login signed in. Whenever I go to login with my own PSN id, it tells me that I cant sign in with another users login.

You may need to be logged in as that user to create a new user account. Which of course does not help you. You may need to wipe the machine and restore the original image. Might take some time, but should work.

I ended up doing a system restore.

Kind of what I was thinking, I got the PS3 (250gb) and 2 games for $100 bucks. Dude seemed kind of uneasy, maybe it was stolen, maybe he needed to buy crack. Oh well.
