Should have seen this coming. He's the prototypical quarterback for Al Davis.

Football skills are second to speed; Pryor in the 3rd, Usain Bolt in the 4th.

The Raiders new slogan:

"Just Draft 'Em Baby!"

It just amazes me that there's a team out there that can make the same mistakes over and over. It may be time for the league to take the franchise away from Big Ole Al. They have some great and loyal fans, which is amazing because of the job he's done the last few years.

Yeah, I just don't get it. All insults aside, Al is an NFL icon. His history and influence on the league is unparalleled, but some of his decisions are just senseless.

Once he ran a 40 time of 3.8 to 4.1, I was positive he was going to the Raiders.

Well, it was only a Raiders 3rd round pick. Using the Al Davis-adjusted trade value chart, it's worth somewhere in between a 6th and a 7th rounder.

Don't even think like that. :lm:

The main problem I see if the lack of draft picks that the Raiders have next year. I believe they're now out their 3rd, 4th and 5th round picks. Correct me if I'm wrong on that. That's a pretty big gamble for a guy that can't even practice with the team until week 6.

Max Draft Score Points
- (0-100)

Position Ability - 10

Potential Growth/Development - 5

Discipline - 5

Fitness/Health - 5

Collegiate Ability - 25

Speed - 30

Media Hype - 20

So it makes sense when we go to the chart.

Well, he is still a starter... No one knows why, but he is.

true, no one really knows, unlike #1 in '08, Balmer? is he still in the league? or did he pull a Jammy? maybe Al was in the neighborhood that day.

The brass that picked Alex Smith is gone. Al Davis is still in your FO.

true, true, and just like my grandpa and his ol Merc, we know he won't give it up till we pry the keys from his cold, dead hands. And true, your old brass IS gone, but that stiff Smith is still in the BF, just sayin.

That's why I hope Al Davis lives to 200 years old. And let's not act as if the Raiders' QB situation has been better. At least our QB bust made it to year three.

You both just need a guy that won't take 'no' for an answer. It works for the Steelers.

Absolutely. We need a quick decision maker that will not blame it on protection.
