the part about shaking those two conferences down for cash has been stripped out. The cap of 19 members looks like it will remain.....meaning they did not object to it. This means there are only potentially 4 seats left at the big boy table. Everybody knows the B1G is saving a seat for Notre Dame. A provision in the bill would require any team from a P4 conference to be independent for at least 5 years prior to joining another.
The commentariat at fsu and miami are not taking this well.
