This thread will be a forum where posters can share info, evaluations and videos of their favorite players in the 2013 draft or players they would like to see drafted by the Bengals. This is everyone's opinion, there are are no right or wrong answers so please be civil to one another. I already created a thread titled 'DeVonte Holloman' but I'm re-post it in here. Let's keep it going and give honest insightful, drama free, replies.

DeVonte Holloman OLB 6'2" 235 South Carolina | 4.6 - 40yd time

Here's a player the more I watch him the more I like him. DeVonte Holloman is a poor man's Alec Ogletree as he too started his career at South Carolina as a safety but was eventually moved to linebacker. He has above average "football intelligence" and is able to quickly diagnose plays with the strength to fight off blocks to make the tackle. And though he appears a little stiff in the hips when dropping into coverage he has the speed to make up any lost ground. Was arrested for a DUI and suspended for the East Carolina game in 2011. He's the type of player who's stock can catch fire during the evaluation process and skyrocket up the draft boards.

Zaviar Gooden OLB 6'1⅞" 226 Missouri | 4.4 - 40yd time

Here's another player that's beginning to really grow on me. A supremely gifted, yet undersized, athlete who's suited to man the weak-side OLB position in a 4-3 Defense. His instincts seem a little suspect as he is sometimes late diagnosing or taking poor angles to the play but he has the speed and athleticism to overcome these shortcomings. Doesn't have the size to stack and shed but uses his speed to go around blockers to make the play. He's a smooth athlete with the range to drop into coverage and track TE's on crossing and seam routes. A drag down tackler who needs to hit the weight room to improve his strength.

What do y'all think about Jonathan Cyprien? He seems to be moving up draft boards, so im not sure he would be available at 37. I would be interested in hearing what you guys have to say about him.

Cyprien has a lot of draft guys drooling. He has all the physical tools, and a great combine will push him into the first round, probably as the 2nd safety. He needs polish, but I think he's a player. I'd be good with Cincy using one of their 2nd rounders on him.

Not happening.

Not saying that it shouldn't...just saying...the history of this franchise shows that they will not draft another QB.

They'll find another re-tread veteran to come in and hold a clipboard next year, but that's about it.

we drafted Klingler when we had Boomer, we drafted Smith when we had Blake, we drafted Palmer when we had Kitna, it all depends on how much hope we really have in Dalton improving, those who think that it's probably a little too soon to abandon ship on the Dalton boat are probably in sync with the Bengals thought though.

Boomer is really the only one you can point to. Though he was traded after they drafted Klingler. Boomer had been in the league quite a few years at that point, and the team in the 90's sucked. I think they were hoping to re-boot the offense behing Klingler, but forgot that they needed an OL to protect him.

Kitna was always going to be the guy that groomed the next QB.

Jeff Blake had a nice streak, but once he cooled off, he was exactly what he was...a low level QB.

Personally, I have zero issue with drafting a guy to push him.
