PFF is stupid. They have Brandon Graham as the best DE in the NFL and he’s been absolutely invisible. 1 sack in 8 games. I don’t know how they make this shit up. Brady at 7? Pleeeease.

Pressures are more stable than sacks, I won't pretend I watch Graham so religiously I'd know the quality of said pressures. PFF has a pretty liberal definition of pressure compared to most insofar as I can tell. The Eagles secondary ain't good though so it doesn't shock me the sack total is nerfed despite being good.

LOL, IDK about that. He played one game against a horrible defense that quit playing before halftime. He has a couple more games against lax defenses then the competition stiffens. We will see where he is after that. I do think he can be better than Beathard but that is not too hard to do and he outplayed Beathard in the preseason

I think the PFF really isnt claiming who is the best QB in their rankings. Their rankings are solely on Stats alone. I think their rankings are basically to be used as a tool for people to use when ranking QBs (with their opinions) I found some things in there interesting, that I wouldnt have noticed when ranking QBs. BTW Drew Brees is off the hook this year.

I don't think it's that crazy tbh. He's been decent from what I've seen despite a pretty sad group of WR's to throw to (Landry blows) outside of the one game he had Gordon. He went 1:1 for a good reason.

When they have him above people like Rothlisberger and Smith, I have a hard time taking any of it seriously.

Well yeah, I get that part. I've already dumped on Fitzpatrick's rank in this thread for instance. I think 19th for Mayfield is pretty up there on the believable scale, however.

He is definitely the best of all the rooks.

Next year will be interesting for all the rooks. All their teams have cap space and with a year under the belt...

Brandon Graham always was one of the best at registering pressures but he’s done nothing this year. Big article in the Philly paper on how he is losing tons of cash going into FA next year. He has been a major disappointment. #1 DE in the NFL... hes like #3 just on the Eagles this year.

After my last thread about Profootball focus ranking of big ben..........that went well. But they rank him pooorly again, and some of these rankings are just nutty. Its making me question alll their metrics, and they are held in high regard
