Didn't see a game thread, figure we can post our thoughts here.

Excited to see C.J. Prosise. I've really liked him a lot, but with his injuries he really hasn't been someone we can count on.

LOL wow, what a stupid call. Illegal block in the back? Give me a break. *edit* oh if it's a hold I guess that's more understandable.

Either way, O-Line looks pretty good so far this preseason. Wilson getting good time and some decent holes for Carson.

Chargers moving down the field pretty easily. I think they could be really good this year and I actually have them as my favorites for the division.

Bosa/Gordon/Ramsey, definitely gives their defense some studs... and if Allen/Gordon/Rivers stay healthy along with their O-Line, no reason they shouldn't have a great offense.

What's with the D line now? TD sliding right through it all. Got past Wagner? Back to the M's game for a few now.

I was quite confused as to the Seahawks putting Rasheem Green on the interior when that touchdown run happened.

He can be an interior pass rusher similar to Michael Bennett, but he does not have the ability to stand his own on the run in a heavy package. You fill the A gaps with your best run defenders, not a rookie who you hope can provide a good edge rush and be slid inside on passing downs.

Tedric Thompson has been out of place almost this entire game. Yikes.

Me too. In fact one of the things they said about Green was he needs to work on his rush skills and needs to add some strength/bulk to be able to handle interior blocking (lot of analysts thought he'd pick that up if he returned to school his last year and could've been a late 1st or early 2nd day pick).

That was an awful prayer by Wilson, but great catch by David Moore.

Followed through by another amazing play.

lol that's an incredible catch... I guess might as well take a shot since it'd be a 50 yard punt regardless...

He's still a young guy. He was only 20 in his last season at USC. They see him as the next Michael Bennett, but it will take some time.

This is one of the first drafts I've loved by the Hawks. I loved the Green selection, and I really love the Penny selection. My football group chat went nuts when the Seahawks selected Penny. They knew I had been talking about how I thought he should be a top-15 selection. I think he has everything that Barkley has, minus the tough schedule and Penny is an awful pass protector.

That's interesting, this was one of the first drafts (outside of the loaded 2010 one) that I loved for Seattle as well. I have admitted numerous times I was not high on Russell Wilson when we took him (although I liked Wagner that year). But I liked most all of our picks in this draft.

Defensive line is getting dominated on run plays.

It appears more like poor gap integrity. The edge defenders on every play start going outside the tackles, then the interior defenders are exploding into the A gaps. The edge defenders only seem to be concerned about the C gap, which has left the B gap wide open.

I thought Wilson would learn behind Flynn. I also speculated that Richard Sherman may have been drafted to play WR. In my defense we had more issues at WR than DB and Sherman was an unheralded CB at 6'3 when 6' was tall for a CB.

Ifedi has been awful as always.

Yep... and on that 3rd down, Ingram shed the chip block and then was blowing right past Ifedi again. If Wilson hung onto that ball for another 0.5 seconds to throw a better pass, he'd have likely been sacked.
