Prediction Friday.......Surprise party or visions of 3-13?

Jerrah's boys are favored by 10 points in this one, some say that this is a safe spread by the odds makers because it is an inter-divisional game where records don't really count for much. Others say that the spread should be far greater because of DC's historical records in national games and penchant to completely get mauled in these contests.

What do you say? Do you agree with the one poster here who says that there's a Texas sized surprise coming on Monday night?........OR.......Do visions of a Stephen King style (horrific) ass whuppin' seem inevitable?


My take: Unable to move the ball, Dallas dominates time of possession and wins comfortably 30-17

We get our ass kicked. Again. Dallas moves the ball at will and at the half I am wondering what the hell I am doing staying up late to watch this. I was rewarded only once, Brunell to Moss X 2, but every other time I should have gone to bed.

Hah, I was thinking along these lines. I'f seen this scenario a million times. We win TOP, we out gain them, we look really good, but we make turnovers and mistakes that cost us TDs and we lose a game where we feel like we played better. That was Norv Turner's entire tenure - Win all the stats except the scoreboard.

Gawd, I wish I had your confidence. I hope that you're right of course, however, for your prediction to come true, this team will have to do some things that they have been unable to do in 18 out of their last 23 games, on a Monday night, in a nationally televised game, but what the hell....let's go pull off the upset DC!!!!!

Seriously if the roles were reversed would any of us fear Colt McCoy if he was in for Dallas? Now if they had a Robert Griffin I'd have some concern.

Turnovers have absolutely KILLED this team. If, and that's a big "IF" the REDSKINS don't turn the ball over they can win this game...even with Colt McCoy at QB. I only wish RG3 was ready to go, but he's not.

I woke up this morning, took a deep breath off my balcony looking over the beautiful waters of Destin and smelled upset. But, then again maybe at the end of the season a win over the Boys on Monday night might not be an upset?
