Boston College, the two early season OOC creampuffs and????Hard to see any losses
Seriously though. We haven’t won a road game in over 2 years.

I could see one of those. I suspect not two. By late in the season, Norvell's Death March will have everybody demoralized and the team will throw in the towel.Virginia and NC state (since we are at home). And we will muddle our way to one more. The ACC sucks.
I'm not dunking on Riley, in fact, I like him, his teams are fun to watch. I don't blame him for ditching OU for USC. Hell, if I were Riley, I'd go to USC, too, in a nano second with that $110M that they drop in my lap.thats interesting. Im not saying we didnt have a FEW OU players. The main being Caleb Williams. But its not near todays Cignetti leaving and taking half the roster with him. Looking back now USC had 3 players from OU. Many of you OU fans would say you didnt mind losing the other 2 Mario Williams and Latrell Mccutchin. Compared to todays poaching of rosters when coaches leave OU got off easy. Imagine OU lost danny stutsman, Rmason Thomas, Kip Lewis, Billy Bowman, and others to USC that year? OU still finished with a top 10 class that year. OU fans love to pile on Riley but what was USC class that year? 66th per 247 sports. Better in 2023 with a top 5 class. but alot of those guys transferred out. 19 of 24 recruits eventually transferred. 2024 and 2025 were barely top 20 classes.
My point in all this is I think the USC administration acknowledges that our NIL didnt really get in order till that 2026 class. Remember all the jokes when the 2 5-star recruits from Georgia commited to USC for a few months and decommited? thats why. I know you cant wait to dunk on Riley. Some OU fans care more about being right about Riley than their own team winning a playoff game. But you are going to have to likely wait till after 2027 to do it.
USC had over 20 players opt out of the bowl game against TCU, and the DC for that game was his first time calling the defense.I'm not dunking on Riley, in fact, I like him, his teams are fun to watch. fun fact: Riley went 35-15 in his first 45 game in LA. The guy that you ran out of town for him, Helton was 31-14...one game better than Riley. RL went 11-3 in his first year, but since then he's gone 24-15 the last 3 years.
and speaking of playoffs....OU did go to the CFP last year while your #16 USC team lost to unranked TCU (without their starting QB, WRs and TE) in Alamo bowl.

He went 11-3 in the dying pac12.
USC would've won the PAC 12 championship game that year if Caleb didn't pop his hamstring in the first half.He went 11-3 in the dying pac12.

Hell, when our season went into the toilet and Napier was fired, the team just didn't show up against Kentucky and Tennessee.
nope...it's RL/Grinch soft zone defense on obvious passing downs that did them in. Utah TE Kincaid burnt them badly in both games.USC would've won the PAC 12 championship game that year if Caleb didn't pop his hamstring in the first half.
They were up by two TDs when Caleb got injured, they would've kept scoring with him in the second half.nope...it's RL/Grinch soft zone defense on obvious passing downs that did them in. Utah TE Kincaid burnt them badly in both games.
Image hidden. Log in or register to see images.I just want the WR screen on third down to be completely scrapped from the playbook, and Cash Jones running out of eligibility might save Bobo from himself
Lincoln Riley with a competent DC would be a dangerous head coach……..nope...it's RL/Grinch soft zone defense on obvious passing downs that did them in. Utah TE Kincaid burnt them badly in both games.
I'll go with 9-3. Lose both Oregon/OSU road games, lose one of PSU/Iowa/OU/Indiana home games (probably Indiana). I think Underwood improves as a passer though still has some growing pains. Running game is explosive. Defense will be pretty good with a great secondary. Defensive line improves but I'm not sure it will be good enough for the big games. LB looks whatever.
Thoughts on if Underwood does not improve? Will the fans bail on him after the OSU game?
