I’m excited about this game. The Steelers are playing good ball right now but I still am excited at the thought of the Broncos pulling the upset, building some momentum and elbowing back into the playoff picture.

Of all the 5-5 teams in line for that final WC spot the Broncos actually have one of the easier paths in terms of remaining opponents. At the same time there are some quietly solid to hot teams in that mix (Titans, Colts) and another that holds a tie breaker over the Broncos (Ravens). The odds are long but I’ll take long odds over talk of draft position every season.

After last year even distant long odds are a welcome addition at this point in the season.
