Can't imagine who's going to be #1 in west on yours. :noidea:

Maybe some are high on Houston, but I think at this point you just can't count on Chris Paul being healthy. They're still paper-thin at the forwards, but I think most trust Westbrook's health more than Paul's at this point and that's what motivated them to do this deal.

If he gets hurt in OKC, at least they'll have a highly-coveted prospect SGA to fill in for him. Plus they still have Schroder as a sixth man...

#1 on my list is actually going to be Denver, todd.

And did you seriously put OKC over Portland?

Good for you for wising up. We're accepting any potential applications for our 2020 championship bandwagon. :suds:

To answer your question - Portland has just earned themselves the #9 seed in this difficult conference with their moves this summer. Whiteside in the west is a big N-O...

I think the Clippers could have some matchup problems with teams that have talented bigs. I mean if you put AD and Cousins at the 4 and 5 it's going to be trouble and if Cousins gets closer to what he was 2 years than it's even more trouble for teams.

But OKC, without PG and Westbrook, but with CP3 is playoff bound?

Riiiight....

agree with your assessment of matching up with bigs...

I think the Clippers will have a decent amount of switchability and speed on the perimeter, but matching up down low COULD be a problem ...

guess we'll see how they deal with it...

Schroder, Adams and CP3 could be gone by the end of the offseason. They might be good for 7 wins but not a 7 seed

Good luck unloading all those contracts. Their best value might be of that on the court and not their trade value. And there was one article on CBS that projects them as 44 wins post-trade, and more than they were projected before the trade. Chemistry is everything here.

Riiiight....

And SGA...And Schroder...And Gallinari...And Adams. They might not be as talented as before but they'll move the ball better without ball-stoppers Russ and PC13. Obviously I'll have to adjust my rankings if they are indeed able to re-work another trade for CP3, but for that contract I wouldn't get my hopes up.

The Celtics weren't the powerhouse a lot of people expected them to be last year. Now they seriously downgraded. They'll make the playoffs no doubt but it wouldn't surprise me if they fall out the top 4

Fair enough... he had them at 7, though... in the East.

Horford is a big loss... but there is also another year of growth from Tatum and Brown, and one more year removed from injury for Hayward... the C's had and have a young roster.
