1)Rodgers
2)Peyton
3)Brady
4)Ryan
5)Flacco ( I don't view him as a Top 5 Qb.. had an amazing playoff run last year but has been so disappointing besides last year's run.. very average in regular season) But who knows with Jaworski

Don't get me wrong I love Joe Flacco. But he's not a better QB than Drew Brees. I had Flacco at 6 or 7th best in the league.

I'd put Peyton at #1, especially with Welker a Bronco.

That would have been my choice as well, Brees is a top 5 QB in my opinion.

I tend to agree, but we also know that Brees' career took off when he got away from Cam Cameron. We have a small sample with Flacco (away from Cam) and it's looking pretty damn good.

I just don't buy Flacco as a top 5 QB. Look he got hot during the playoffs and no doubt led his team to a SBOWL but top 5?

Rodgers
Manning
Brees
Brady
Ryan

Those should be the players for now. Wilson/Kaep if they can duplicate production from last year deserve mention. RG3 needs to prove he can stay healthy but I guess he's in there too.

He actually got hot when the Cameron was fired and Caldwell took over as OC. I think the people who have Flacco rated highly are looking at that fact (Cameron isn't coming back) and the fact that Flacco knows what it takes to win.

Eh I guess. Just looking at his #s last year though, 59% completion and 7.19 YPA, just can't get behind top 5. I'll argue top 10 but top 5 is pushing it. That's my opinion anyway, no bias in terms of Baltimore (I've always enjoyed watching their play).

That's what I'm trying to say. Some people don't just look at the numbers. Apparently Jaws is one of those people. So am I.

Unfortunately I don't have the luxury of watching every Ravens game since I'm West Coast so I have to somewhat look at #s.

From what I've seen from Flacco on the field + his #s, he's not top 5 in my book. If we're looking at a SINGLE season next year I'd rather have Manning, Rodgers, Brees, Brady or Ryan on my team. I'd also take a healthy Ben R. over Flacco. I don't have the luxury of being able to always watch those guys play either but their #s and from what I have seen of them impresses me more than Flacco.

I don't just look at the #s, but the #s have to be taken into consideration. 1 Super Bowl victory does not mean you're auto top 5. We were ready to put Trent Dilfer top 5 because he won a Super Bowl? Nobody mentioned Flacco in the top 5 before his Super Bowl and despite a great stretch, I personally think Flacco in the top 5 is a stretch.

I can get behind him at #7-8 or so. We're not talking about a great disparity in #s and it's safe to agree that anyone mentioning him in the top 5 has him at #5.

I get the fact Ryan gets a lot of love, but can we all just admit he has, easily, the best WR duo in the NFL, the greatest TE of all time (who is still playing at a great level), a pretty good OL, a nice threat out of the backfield, and plays most of his games indoors.
