MONTREAL -- Christian Ehrhoff had a goal and an assist to lead the Buffalo Sabres to a 3-1 preseason victory over the Montreal Canadiens on Wednesday night.

Jason Pominville scored in the first period and Tyler Ennis got an empty-net goal in the final seconds.

Ryan Miller stopped all 11 shots he faced in his first preseason start. Jhonas Enroth made 12 saves in relief for his second straight win.

Nice addition that Ehrhoff guy and Pommers is healthy and ready to roll.

Adam looks real good and so does Foligno, it makes for good competition and the goaltending looks real solid!
