And the Seahawks aren't in that position unless they get a miracle catch or the Pats have 2 TD drives in the 4th quarter. Reality is, the game is 60 minutes, not 45 seconds.

True story
Pats are a few plays from 7 rings

A few from zero

I just posted this article on the Pats board. Something tells me there is some maybe a lot of truth to this story. If so fuck Kraft, lets remember he threw TB12 under the bus for deflate-gate, this may be a makeup call. Kraft needs to sit the f down and stop the Jerry Jones BS. If Belichick felt they needed to retain Jimmy G and if that meant trading a 40 year old TB then that is what should have happened.
This is the one thing that other sources within the organization are saying there is a 0% chance happened. They said the last time Kraft and Belichick spoke about Jimmy was back in the spring, and Belichick came to Kraft with the offer from the 49ers. Kraft asked Belichick if it was the right move, Belichick said yes. End of story.

That's from the radio this morning, and neither of the morning radio guys at 98.5 are even Patriot fans. They have sources in the organization who they trust though. So now we are hearing two sides.

Mehh BB aint going anywhere. Look these things happen all the time in sports owner coach player drama. For all we know Jimmy G could end up being Brian Hoyer, Matt Cassel it's going to be hard for this team to let go of Brady but it has to happen. I think BB wanted to find a way to keep both, and they could have paid Jimmy 25 mil to make that happen, but that would have meant next season would have to be TB12s final season.

Naah Jimmy is the goods
You just have to watch him play to realize he's a ton more like Aaron Rodgers than Brian Hoyer
Guy hasn't lost in the NFL and 5 of those games were with an offense void of actual talent

A few from 1 I think is more accurate. While the final score is just 3 points in Super Bowl 39, that game wasn't really in doubt, and neither were the games leading up to it. I've felt the 2004 team was the best and had the most complete playoff run.

Which one is that? Philly?

Between Kraft/Belichick/Brady, I think Belichick leaving is the most likely. Although I think none leave.

Nothing in the article is surprising. What's amazing is the fact that the three men have been able to keep it working for so well for 17 years. No other franchise in American sports history has had a run like the Patriots. With that said, I wonder if the Pats will be working out a trade in the off season to move up the draft board to get a QB. As much as Brady believes he can continue to play at a high level into his 40s, the Pats have to be thinking about their next franchise QB.

Yeah if anything, BB retiring is more likely than starting over somewhere else

I just like to dream cause of his Giants love

Yeah. Held a 10-point lead when the Eagles took over at their own 21 with 5:40 left. After they went up 10, Pats didn't need another first down the rest of the game to run out the clock.

But if that was a real possibility, would they risk losing McDaniels to another job?

I gotta say. It's a good job by Seth Wickersham. Take all the rumors that have been brewing up here for a while. Literally everything in the article is verbatim what they've been talking about on the 98.5 afternoon show all season, and even before that. Add "anonymous sources and staffers" to fluff it up a bit. Get every Patriots fan to read it so we can reject it. Get every non-Patriots fan to read it because it gives them hope that the dynasty really is falling. Clicks galore.

And I'm not saying everything in the article is fake. A lot of it, I'm sure, is true.

Game was 14-14 after 3, bias aside, I didn't feel like the pats had that won until when you said. No way was that their easiest one. I'm the most pessimistic fan there is and I even was like "hmm philly has a shot" at halftime.

I will agree that was the pats best team of all the title teams imo.

Here is the way I feel about this. I do believe this struggle took place, I do believe it has caused a divide, I do believe they wanted to keep Jimmy G, I do believe that made Brady at 40 a bit insecure, I do believe Kraft forced BBs hand, I do believe this pissed off BB, I do believe most of this to be true, I do believe it's old news and all persons involved are moving past it and finally I do believe the media waited to post this story because the Pats have a bye week and nothing else to write about.

Your too busy watching your Peaky Blinders show and not any news, don't blame me . The OP is the Blade Runner, none of his threads have any legs. At least Oscar has no snow removal in the can like the rest of us Northeast people
