Terrance Knighton visiting the team he plays for tomorrow

I suppose early reports of Knighton's demise in Washington were exaggerated. Pot Roast is meeting with Team Belichick today. Unless he signs during his visit there, he just might re-sign here. His BFF Chris Baker has lobbied vigorously for his return, and claims that he's slimmed down over the offseason. Even if he is re-signed here, that really shouldn't change our plans to draft a NT/DT and DE in the first three rounds of the draft.

It depends on what is asking price is. He left NE without a contract. I take him back for the right price. IF he wants over 5 mil per season I would say pass.

For a bargain contract, I'd sign him, and draft his replacement. Depth can't hurt.

Seems Pot Roast has worked hard this off season to keep his weight down.

Well that will make some folks around here happy I guess.

I hope we dont frugal ourselves into a 6-10 record and a continuing rebuild is all I can say.

he was good & will be missed

but, he is not Haynesworth at his prime

We need that dude

keeping my fingers crossed that they plan to get him young & cheap through the draft

outside QB, NT is one of the most overpayed & rare to find talent

We need to NOT go into the draft looking for 3-4 starters. IM just saying. Thats usually how we end up with Guys Like Bacari Rambo starting because we failed to fill holes before the draft.

which is why letting morris walk for a measly 1 or 2 or whatever the cowboys gave him was not smart ...

so what needs are there ?

NT, Mike, RB, safety, corner ... curious if they plan to invest more into the O-line or if they think any of these young pups we've already invested in are ready ?

might get lucky finding guys getting cut after the draft also ...

but as for the NT position ... we need a game changer.

pot roast was good ... but he wasn't that dude

we need that dude that forces teams to run outside. give him 10 seconds and hes going to run through a double team, not quit & have the speed & youth to catch a Cam or insert mobile qb name here ...

almost a necessity to have a young NT ... cause no 30 year old NT is going to be that dude

I want a thermo nuclear missile who doesnt want glory ... because teams are going to avoid him ... but he is going to make everyone else on the team look great

that dude

EDIT: sounds like a fairy tale ... but to run the 34 you need that one in a generation guy

which is why i believe the coaches have decided it just easier to run a 43 in the long run ... too difficult to find that dude
