The wife and I are relocating from the toilet bowl, otherwise known as Missouri, back to Nebraska next weekend. We were supposed to leave Saturday around 1:00 PM for the 12 hour drive, but I postponed it until the next morning just so I would be able to watch the Huskers play the Badgers that night. Am I the only one who thinks this is a perfectly normal decision?

My wife seems to think that I have my priorities a little skewed.

That is ok. It just like people that have ther wedding during the football season. Don't do it or do it during the bye week in football.

My brother had his wedding scheduled for a Colorado game Saturday. I told him I would not be attending. His fiance got pissed off about it. I told her that the game was scheduled LONG before the wedding. They ended up changing the date because several family members would not attend due to the game.

If Nebraska beats Wisconsin, you'll have enough adrenalin flowing to leave around midnight after the game!

Honestly I'd rather move BEFORE the Wisconsin game because it looks like Wisconsin's going to have their way with us. If we lose, then you're not going to have a pissy shitstormed hangover drive all the way to Nebraska because you're already there. And if we win, then your first few days in Nebraska are going to feel amazing ;l

my cousin did it right...she got married on the Sunday of Labor Day weekend (of course so everyone could go to the Husker game the day before). I thought it was very thoughtful of her.

My younger sister wasn't as thoughtful. She set up her wedding on November 1st of 1980, the day of the Nebraska Missouri game.

No, but I was once propositioned by a priest, so I am ALMOST Catholic.....

Agnostic-ish.....

I am really looking forward to getting up there. I was there for a couple of weeks and found us a house in Shelby and made all the arrangements so it will be ready on the 3rd.
