All in all, not a bad week for the Skins. I think we like some of the moves and scratch our heads with others. I trust the front office and support our new players.

Assuming we sign Donald Penn to play RT as suggested and Ryan Clark at Safety, here is what I would do. The mock draft has no trade backs. I would approach the draft looking for starters early, but then looking for depth and BPA at areas of need.

2nd Round: Kelvin Benjamin - WR: The offense would now be complete with a red zone weapon and outside WR opposite of Garcon. This pushes Roberts to the slot and gives RG3 the weapons he needs.

3rd Round: Deone Buchannon - SS: He is a hard hitting Safety who can cover as well. He could actually start as well. He might not be there as he is projected between the 2nd and 3rd rounds.

4th Round: Jordan Zummalt - ILB: Good tackler who adds depth and speed at ILB. I read that he played well and the East - West Shrine game. He is projected as a 3rd to 4th rounder so he might not be there at all.

5th Round: Arthur Lynch - TE: He projects as a blocking TE but he hauled in 30 passes his last year at UGA. We need depth at TE and he would be a BPA overall pick.

6th Round: Andrew Jackson - ILB: We simply have no depth at ILB and he would be a thumper at ILB. Pass coverage would need work according to scouts but he would add good depth.

7th Round: Tom Hornsey - Punter: We haven't signed a Punter and Hornsey was the Ray Guy winner. Our last drafted punter didn't work out (Durant Brooks) but we have to fill this hole and didn't do it through FA.

The draft would not be about the names or the popular pick to sell jerseys, but this class would add a lot of depth and address glaring holes we currently have. Most of them would obviously have to play special teams, but that is a good thing seeing that we had the worst ST unit in the NFL. It would not be an exciting draft but we are literally the 2nd worst team in football. Thoughts???

I don't like rounds 4-7 but it's a crap shoot as you get later so I can't really fault it.

I do think that is way too early for Zummalt.

why take a WR in the 2nd round where you can get a guy like Moncrief in the 3rd. Right now I like Filo and Moncrief as our top two picks.
